Welcome to Intro to Online Journalism. This is the companion blog to the course JOUR 395 Intro to Online Journalism at San Francisco State University. In this course students will explore the ever-evolving world of online journalism.
As part of the course, each student will develop a blog, in which they explore multiple ways of gathering information and telling stories. Students will experiment with audio, video, photography, audio slide shows, interactive maps and social networking as journalistic tools.
We’ll link to their blogs in a few weeks.
As the instructor for the course I’ll use this site to provide links to examples and readings and share my impressions of what my students are doing. I look forward to getting your feedback on our progress!
